I’m a Hawick lass (pronounced Hoyk), born and bred in the grey, auld toon. I finished my degree in German and moved to Berlin over four years ago – I really miss a good cuppa and some chocolate biscuits!

Aside from my day job at a ‘global Fintech’, I like to think of myself as a feminist eco-warrior in training – I’m kidding, I’ve never once thought of myself like that, but sustainability, equality and mental health are all very important to me and I hope to include these topics in my writing.

If I’m not writing and updating my blog, I would take a good guess that I’ll be watching Harry Potter or Friends – I KNOW! All Friends quotes are welcome, this is a safe space.
